What are the most common Vancouver roofing repairs for asphalt shingle roofs?
The most common Vancouver roof repairs are around chimneys and skylights
because the counter flashings are not installed properly and/or sloppy workmanship.
The 2nd most common Vancouver roofing repairs are roof vents because the roof
vent was placed on one row too early and/or exposed nails.
The 3rd most common Vancouver roof repair is improper nailing patterns of
shingles, leaving exposed nails or very little overlap of nails under the
shingles or nails not completely set "such as with air nailing guns."
which will pop right through the shingle in a few years.
The 4th most common Vancouver roofing repair would be faulty decking or roof
sheathing causing the wood to buckle up through the shingles or cave in, making
a low spot in the decking, sending water side ways and creating a leak.

caused by raccoons or squirrels ripping open an older shingle roof valley
of 10 years or older so they can nest in the attic.
Baked enamel valleys do not cost much more to install, maybe 50 cents a foot
